City lady went back to her roots- country living

Hi all!

I joined this site not too long ago. I moved onto my uncle's country property back in late 2015 in Central New York in order to tend to his animals while he is out on the road ( drives tractor trailer for a living).
We currently have around 40 hens (Buff Orpington and Rhode Island Reds) which are brown egg layers plus 1 rooster who is also a Rhode Island Red. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2 more roosters ( Buff Orpington and an Easter egger). There's also 4 steers (2 Dexter's Houdini who's a red color, Shadow who's black, 1 Black Angus Mouthy Buddy, and last but not least a White-faced Hereford Taco). Mouthy Buddy and Taco belong to another family member of mine.
We sell the eggs from the chickens and raise the steers for the meat. The money from the egg sales goes to getting the chickens feed and sometimes the cow feed which is only given 2-3 times a week seeing how the cows are grass raised plus the chickens are free range during the day.
We are in the planning stage of a veggie garden and thinking about during a herb garden too.
I'm not sure what else to put in here so feel free to make comments.
