Am I Totally Self-Sufficient?....No Way...Not Yet

Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while since I’ve written to you and really a lot has been happening around the farm. Between kidding and calving, I haven’t had much time to do any writing. It was a hard winter and now everything is green and it’s raining here as I am writing.

I had the burnouts with the internet and had to just get away from it for a while and clear my head from the “Internet Jungle”. Living in the country with nature is were my happiness truly lies. I truthfully didn’t know what to write to you guys. But then, I realized all I have to share is my journey.

Am I totally self sufficient? No way…but it is a dream of mine and that’s how this website was born. My aunt, who has since past, gave me a 1970’s edition to the reader’s digest book, Back to Basics: A Complete Guide to Traditional Skills, Third Edition and it became my favorite book other than the bible. Originally, Self Sufficient Farm Living was based on this book but than I began to drift and lost focus.

Now I’m back and I’m trying to decide if I should continue building this website or just move on to greener pastures. I never thought that I would reach over 5000 subscribers . That’s a little shocking for me, but than I think most people never read these things anyway….lol. Monetarily, self-sufficient-farm-living.com has been more lucrative than I had imagined and educational at the same time. Thanks to Site Build It I’ve been on two journeys. A self sufficient journey and a website building journey. They both can become a little overwhelming at times.

I’d like to know if you still want to hear about my journey with self sufficiency and tools I use to reach my goals. Just maybe, I’ll be able to help others along their journey. I've made several blunders along this journey and I’m sure there will be others but I’ll try and keep it to a minimum.

Just saying, My feelings won’t be hurt if you decide to unsubscribe at the link below this email. And, if you want to forward this email to your friends, that’s cool too.

To you and your success,

Steve Robinson
